Nuvion and Turnkey Team Up on Embedded Wallet Infrastructure

Nuvion, the Miami-based cross-border payments and global banking platform, has announced a partnership with Turnkey, a specialist in secure key management and transaction signing infrastructure. The tie-up is intended to make it easier for businesses and fintechs to deploy stablecoin-powered financial products without managing wallet architecture or private-key security in-house.

The arrangement integrates Turnkey’s wallet infrastructure directly into Nuvion’s platform, which already offers multi-currency accounts, card issuing, global payouts and compliance automation across fiat and stablecoin rails. The combined offering is positioned to cover embedded wallet creation, stablecoin on- and off-ramps, programmatic treasury workflows and global payout routing over digital-asset rails. Neither company disclosed the commercial terms of the partnership.

What the deal adds
Keisha Clark, managing director of Nuvion

Keisha Clark, managing director of Nuvion, framed the partnership as a way to abstract infrastructure complexity for enterprise customers. “Businesses want access to the speed and efficiency of blockchain-based financial infrastructure, but they shouldn’t have to become blockchain infrastructure companies to achieve it,” she said. “Partnering with Turnkey helps us abstract complexity while delivering secure, scalable financial infrastructure that enables businesses to move, manage, and grow money globally.”

Bryce Ferguson, CEO and co-founder of Turnkey

Bryce Ferguson, CEO and co-founder of Turnkey, added that Nuvion’s use case fits squarely with the firm’s design intent: enabling teams to ship wallet infrastructure without trade-offs on security.

The practical effect for Nuvion customers is the ability to launch stablecoin products without standing up their own key-management systems, which carry significant security, operational and regulatory overhead. For Turnkey, the partnership extends distribution into a regulated financial platform with an existing enterprise client base.

Market context and regulatory considerations

The broader market for embedded stablecoin infrastructure is developing rapidly, driven by corporate treasury adoption, cross-border B2B payments demand and growing regulatory clarity in several jurisdictions. In the United States, the GENIUS Act is progressing through Congress, which would establish a federal licensing framework for payment stablecoin issuers. In the European Union, the Markets in Crypto-Assets regulation has already created a tiered structure for e-money tokens and asset-referenced tokens, requiring issuers to hold an authorisation and meet prudential standards.

For platform providers such as Nuvion, operating at the intersection of regulated financial rails and stablecoin infrastructure means navigating multiple licensing regimes simultaneously. The company describes itself as built on regulated financial rails, but the release does not specify which licences it holds or in which jurisdictions it is authorised to operate. This is material for enterprise buyers who require regulatory certainty before embedding a third-party financial product into their own stack.

The competitive landscape for this kind of infrastructure layer includes a growing number of providers offering wallet-as-a-service, stablecoin settlement and treasury automation, spanning dedicated crypto-native firms and established banking-as-a-service operators expanding into digital assets. The durability of any advantage in this segment will depend heavily on licence coverage, counterparty risk management and the depth of on- and off-ramp liquidity. Nuvion’s ability to combine regulated fiat infrastructure with stablecoin rails in a single API is the differentiation the company is stressing; whether that holds as larger platforms enter the same space remains to be seen.
