Taranis Capital, The Fintech Times, and Co-Labs Global are collaborating on a strategic initiative designed to de-risk and accelerate growth across FinTech, AI, RegTech, and BioTech in the UK and internationally.
By combining institutional capital, global media reach, and multi-stakeholder ecosystem orchestration, the alliance aims to bridge the gap between high-potential technology providers and the financial institutions searching for reliable, enterprise-grade solutions.
For modern financial institutions and emerging fintechs alike, the path to commercial deployment has grown increasingly complex. Global capital pools remain difficult to access, while banks and asset managers struggle to evaluate which tech vendors possess the long-term operational resilience to survive in a highly regulated environment.
The newly formed partnership addresses this friction by providing a connected infrastructure where capital, editorial insight, and collaborative frameworks operate together. Rather than offering isolated funding or advisory services, the initiative creates an end-to-end pathway—helping founders secure backing, establish trust, and access defined routes to market while enabling established institutions to innovate safely.
The collaboration draws on the distinct operational strengths of each founding partner:
Reflecting on the need for a holistic support system, Nicholas S. Bingham, founder and CEO of Taranis Capital, noted:
“Capital alone doesn’t create change — what is needed, is capital combined with knowledge, networks and the right partners. In today’s environment of tighter funding and heightened scrutiny, innovators need more than a cheque; they need an ecosystem behind them. This collaboration gives founders and institutions exactly that.”
Emphasizing the editorial and connection mission, Mark Walker, CEO & editorial director at The Fintech Times, stated:
“Every week we see brilliant innovation struggling to reach the people who need it, and institutions struggling to identify the innovators worth backing. By joining forces with Taranis Capital and Co-Labs Global, we can connect the dots — between stories and capital, between solutions and the institutions searching for them.”
Echoing this focus on practical execution and systemic connection, Sarah Sinclair, founder & CEO of Co-Labs Global, added:
“The challenges facing our industry — from regulatory complexity to fragmented markets — are too big for any one organisation to solve alone. Collaboration is not a nice-to-have; it is the mechanism by which innovation actually reaches the real economy. Together, this strategic partnership will enable us to create supercharged connective tissue across the various ecosystems to ensure that capital, case studies and collaboration flow faster and stronger.”
The coalition will officially launch its collaboration in person in London on Tuesday 25th August, starting with the Co-Labs Global Youth Community ‘Skills Futures Forum’, hosted at FIS Global. The event focuses on bridging the widening gap between academic pipelines and industry requirements, emphasizing skill-building, access to networks, and inclusive talent access.
Following the launch, the partnership will roll out a dedicated Leadership Workshop Series across London, Manchester, Scotland, and online. Taking place through September and October, these interactive forums will target three urgent operational priorities: AI Practices, Economic Crime, and Regulatory Reporting.
By combining capital deployment with rigorous governance and multi-region educational outreach, the alliance sets out to establish a more resilient, connected environment for financial technology across the UK and global markets.
